Aktia Life Insurance Ltd is part of the Aktia Group. Aktia Life Insurance Ltd has a long and extensive experience in life insurance activities in Finland. The company has approximately 100,000 private and corporate customers and several partners in the finance sector.
The Problem Statement
Aktia Life approached Spark Studio to help them start their digital transformation. Aktia Life was planning multiple system renewals. They didn’t want to just transfer their current solution to new technology platforms. Aktia Life wanted to also rethink their offering and explore what possibilities and new business opportunities digitalization could bring to the table.
Our Approach
We partnered up with two of our partners, Reflector and This Partners, to facilitate a series of workshops. The workshops circled around three themes:
- Aktia Life’s future digital strategy
- A future solution architecture that executes Aktia’s digital strategy
- A strategy to approach the market for partners to build the vision for Aktia Life.
Together with Aktia Life, we worked on clarifying their vision and core values and developed new service ideas. Based on their new strategy we mapped out potential pitfalls in the customer journey and how to create a better customer experience during all parts of the customer journey. We also created a roadmap for their first transformation projects.
Reflector helped us create together with Aktia Life’s experts a digital target architecture, while This Partners helped with creating an RFI and RFP approach for Aktia Life.
The Result
After the workshops, Aktia Life had a digital strategy and go to market strategy with which Aktia Life could start their digital transformation journey.
